Here’s what happens to your data when you browse, copy, save, or share something on EmojiSpark. You do not need an account to use the site.

Favorites & recent searches
Your saved favorites and recent searches are stored in your browser so you can return to them later. Favorites are not synced to an account or sent to our server when you save them. The site remembers up to 500 saved items and your eight most recent searches.
You can remove favorites from your saved collection and clear recent searches from the search interface. Clearing this site’s data in your browser removes both. Blocking browser storage may prevent these features from remembering your choices.
Searching & copying
Search terms are sent to our server to find matching content. We also keep totals for search terms and copied catalog items to understand which content people use. These records contain the search term or item identifier, a count, and the time the total was last updated. They are not linked to an account or a persistent analytics identifier.
Search terms themselves are stored, so please avoid entering private information into search. Clearing your browser history or recent searches does not remove these server-side totals.
When you press Copy, EmojiSpark writes the selected text or image to your clipboard. We do not read what was already on your clipboard. A copy event records the catalog item’s identifier, not the contents of your clipboard or where you paste it.
Combinations you submit
Editing a combination in Combo studio happens in your browser. The combination is sent to our server only when you choose to submit it for review. We store the combination, its title and tags, its review status, and creation and update dates. The form does not ask for your real name or email address.
Submissions are reviewed before publication. If approved, the combination, title, and tags become part of the public catalog. Please leave personal or confidential information out of anything you submit.
Cookies & external services
The current site uses browser storage for favorites and recent searches, rather than cookies. It does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts. Emoji fallback images are served from this site.
Our fonts load from Google Fonts. Your browser connects to Google to request them, which exposes your IP address to Google. Read Google’s explanation of font privacy for details. Other websites linked from EmojiSpark handle data according to their own privacy notices when you visit them.
Site operation & storage
Requests to the site involve connection information needed to deliver pages and protect the service. Depending on the server setup, abuse prevention may temporarily use your IP address to limit repeated requests. IP addresses are not stored in the application’s search and copy statistics.
Browser data remains until you remove it or your browser clears it. Usage totals and submissions currently have no automatic deletion schedule and remain on the server until removed. If you want us to review or remove information you provided, contact us below.

Contact EmojiSpark at [email protected] with privacy questions or requests to access, correct, or delete information you provided. Include enough detail to help us find it, such as a submission title or page link. We use the information in your email to respond and handle your request.
